About Charles Taylor
Expertise
Questions that I can answer are related to performing (straight scenes) and female talent casting/recruitment/management. If your a woman located in the USA and your interested in becoming a porn star let me know. you can email directly at charles@charlestaylorxxx.com

Questions that I specifically can’t answer are questions either pertaining to and/or are related to the gay or transgendered sides of the adult industry, any questions related to the adult biz outside of the USA and Porn Star “where are they now” questions. I am also sorry but I can’t help any men (straight, bisexual or gay) trying to get into the industry either. The best bet for you guys would be to check out- breakingintoporn.com.

Question
Charles,

I have been considering doing a pov hardcore website for quite sometime now. Would you have any tips and advice for a novice like myself.

Thanks in advance,

Ed

Answer
Well first off I would recommend not going that route because even if you were to shoot in California with all of the proper paperwork in order...you may not be covered by the legal precedent that made it completely and totally legal and “legit” to shoot adult content as we know it today in California. The case I am referring to is that of California v. Freeman and it has paved the way in CALIFORNIA for the legal authorities of THAT STATE to be able to differentiate between the shooting of an erotic (adult) film and that of the standard act of prostitution. However what it states and how it is actually written is when a producer/director hires an independent contactor to perform in the scenes...it does not stipulate that the producer/director may hire themselves as the talent for the actual scenes. So in essence shooting a POV scene even in the state where it is already actually guaranteed legal to shoot porn in……maybe construed as prostitution. So your best bet is to consult a legal professional and have them steer you through the legal minefields that are associated with shooting porn.

And with that here is a plug for a legal expert that may be able to help you and get you on the right track-
