My wife recently mentioned to me that she is tired of the low wages associated with her profession(hair stylist). My father just passed away this past week and wee plan on moving to Castle Rock in Douglas County, Colorado. She wants a "fresh start" in a new profession and mentioned getting breast implants and starting an amateur website only containing pictures/video/live cam type of material of only us. We are from Maryland so I am unfamiliar with Colorado state law and the legal requirements of a husband/wife amateur adult website. What would be the approximate start-up costs and steps required to begin such a venture? Thank you in advance for your advice. Sincerely, John

Unfortunately, California is the ONLY place in the United States where it is legal to hire someone to have sex for the purpose of making an Adult Material. This includes Adult Website content, Web Cam shows, Adult Films and most other forms of Adult Media.

Now that being said….

Working together as a husband/wife team puts you in a unique situation to avoid most of the legal issues involved. This is because you would have no need to hire (and therefore pay) performers to assist you in the creation of the content. However, you should definitely consult an Attorney from that area who is well versed in both Adult Industry law as well as the Local/State Obscenity Laws. Unfortunately, there are no Attorneys currently listed with allexperts, who are verifiably qualified to answer these types of questions.

Start-up cost for such a site will depend on several variables, so it would be impossible to quote any type of price range without much more detail on what you have in mind.
