hello, i am scheduled to have an interview soon for adult sex video. i was asked if i wanted to audition, or should i say have sex with my interviewer and it would be video taped and sent in to the producter. is this a normal procedure when breaking into the adult industry.

NO this is NOT normal! Far too often, unscrupulous individuals pretend to be “talent scouts” for Adult Film producers or Adult Talent Agencies in an attempt to fool attractive young into having sex with them by claiming it is an “audition”. It would appear that you are about to fall victim to a very common scam.

The so-called “talent scout” has been non-existent in the Adult Industry sense the mid-80s. Reputable Producers and Adult Talent Agencies have their own “in –house” employees that are responsible for locating new talent. Anyone who claims to be a porn Industry “talent scout” or represent an Agency or Producer and ask you to “audition” by having sex with them is simply trying to pull a fast one.

If you are genially interested in becoming a part of the Adult Film Industry, I would suggest you start by contacting a few reputable Adult Talent Agencies and speaking to them about your interest in the Adult Entertainment Industry. I recommend you start with these:

These are reputable Agencies and their websites have all the information necessary to put you in contact with a representative. These Agencies only work with equally reputable Production companies thus greatly increasing your chances of success. If this is something you are serious about, get yourself signed with an Agency and let them get you started on the right track.

For your own safety I would also STRONGLY advise you to avoid placing and/or answering ads on sites like xpeeps.com, craigslist.com and backpage.com looking for work. These, and many similar, sites are common playgrounds for all manner of predator and are honestly never used by legitimate Adult Industry Professionals to any real extent.
