Question
I NEED TO GET INTO PORN.  i know you heard this so many times, but i live in New York and i have no clue as to how to get started.  i am not willing to do gay porn because well i am NOT gay.  i have 9" in my pants.  i think that should be enough.  can you help out, i need to get started in New York before moving to California.

Answer
First off ...
You need to understand that there are literally thousands of men waiting in line to get a start in the Adult Industry and of those, maybe a dozen will actually get a shot. The supply of potential male performers is much bigger than the demand; therefore your odds of actually finding work in this industry are very slim. It is EXTREMELY difficult for men to get a break in this business regardless of how special, unique, or well endowed they think they may be.

Secondly...

Unfortunately, a nice tool does NOT mean you have what it takes to be a male performer. In fact, an impressive endowment is only one (and probably the least important) of about a dozen things necessary for the job. While having 9 inches in you pants may be enough to impress the girls who hang out at the local bars on Saturday night...it’s just another dick in the world of Adult Film.

And Finally...

Maybe it's an ego thing, but guys can’t seem to grasp the simple concept that porn is about beautiful women having sex. It has never been (and never will be) about the guys who, in reality, are little more that stage props.

Over the last 10 years films that feature ALL GIRL cast have been the biggest sellers in nearly every market and each year their share of the market only gets bigger. Films with all girl cast are by far more popular than films that involve men. This pretty much means that men can, and often are, being replaced by girls wearing by strap-on dildos in many films. Frankly, men simply aren't required at all to sell Adult Films.

Now that being said, it wouldn’t hurt for you to contact a couple reputable Adult Talent Agencies, and talk to them about your options. Just don’t get your hopes up. Even if you are successful in finding an Agency that will accept males, it in no way guarantees you will actually be offered any work by a producer.

Unfortunately, I currently do not know of any agencies that are signing or are even willing to talk to men...so I am unable to recommend one too you.
