Question Hi Dan
I have for some time now been interested in producing adult movies with the view to supply these through mail order as well as having a website. althow i have a british passport, i am not based anywhere as i am an addicted traveller.
if i was to base somewhere, where would the best place for someone going into this industry, also any startup info or website suggestions would be great.
cheers
Answer The best place to produce adult films is in California, as it is the only state which affirmatively permits the production of (non-obscene) adult content.
I am not able to give you startup info or website suggestions without a better idea of the type and nature of the business you're looking to start. I'd recommend browsing the discussion boards on websites like xbiz.com, cozycampus.com, and ynot.com to do your research. When you are ready to get started, feel free to contact me through my website at www.adultwebsitelawyer.com and we can discuss your situation in more detail.
