hey whats up, my names branden and my question is this: I'm pretty sure its way easier for a female to get in the adult film industry then it is for guys,I really want to start a career in the adult film industry.Is it true that the best way for a guy to get into this industry is to start his own porn company rather than to try to link with a big company like west coast productions for example?

No, I would not consider this to be true.  Among other reasons, you have little chance of competing against established companies unless you have a tremendous amount of talent and experience with adult film production and management, business management, web design and development, etc.

As a male, your best opportunities for getting into the adult entertainment world would be to do solo, couples or group gay porn.  There are several companies that are always looking for young straight, bi and gay men to do solo jerk off photo/video shoots, or to do things like "first time gay sex" videos.

If your skill set allows, and you are marketable, then you might consider setting up a simple solo website, marketing to gay customers, and providing something like weekly photo/video updates of you showing off, jerking off, etc., plus holding weekly live cam chat sessions where members can chat with you and watch you jerk off live, or even selling your underwear and socks to guys, which is something that there is a market for.  If you choose this route, expect it to take a minimum of a year for you to build up much of a membership database -- the market is somewhat flooded with amateur gay porn, and you have a lot of established competition to compete with, however, I do believe that it is still doable by an individual who has knowledge and patience.
