Question If you are 13 and you sign up for an adult site, can you get into trouble?
Also, you know how after you sign up for a website and then they send you the activation code to your email account? Well if you never never activate it but you are still able to log into the website, does that mean that you have made an account on the site? I know it sounds confsuing but it's going to bug me all night. That website that I sgned up for sent an activation code to my email address but I didn't activate it yet.But I am still able to log into the stie.So I don't know if that means that I have made an account on the site or not and I don't want to get in trouble. But it won't tell me how to delete it.I'm just really scared right now even though I know it's my fault to begin with. And I'm not panicking because I am tired but I am just scared. Some weird guy even sent me a sexually explicit message through the site and I just want to close it.Please respond.
Answer You probably won't get in trouble, but it would be a good idea not to sign up for adult sites. Over 18 means over 18.
Without knowing the site you're talking about, I don't know if you've actually registered for the site without clicking on the activation link. However if you are already receiving messages from the site, and you are having trouble deleting your account, you should find the contact page on the website and ask that your account be deactivated. If it doesn't happen within a day or so, send follow-up messages asking the same thing.
