Question
What is your opinion on the girl who exposed her fellow pornstars to HIV?

Answer
First off, I would not exactly classify it as on "Outbreak" just yet. After all there is only ONE confirmed case at this point.

Because of an error made by AIM, the woman in question was given a clean bill of health and was medically cleared to work. It was not until several days later that AIM discovered their mistake and informed the woman she had in fact tested positive for HIV. Unfortunately, during this time, the woman had been involved in a small number of shoots, and thus exposed several other Adult Performers to HIV.

My opinion on it...AIM "screwed the pooch". As a result of AIM's  apparent inability to correctly monitor the test results in this particular situation, several people were unnecessarily exposed to HIV. It is an unfortunate situation for everyone involved.

As with most medial organizations, AIM is expected to be perfect. Unfortunately, the reality of it is that mistakes are sometimes made no matter how many precautions are taken to prevent it. This one incident does not alter my belief that AIM makes every effort to insure the health and safety of ALL Adult Performers.
