Question
Hey,

Up until the time I turned 18 I have had a great idea for
an adult film site, that I am currently trying to pursue.
I am a web designer with many ties in the industry, so
thats not my problem.

My problem lies as we live in Wisconsin and I am afraid our
idea won't get carried out due to adult filming laws.  As
California is the place to be to film.  Is their any way
around filming that we could stay?  We have the option to
fly out and round trip flights only run about 200-300 a
person with SUN Country.  I am a little unsure what to do.

If their is any thing that would make this possible please
let me know, or if we have to go to Cali, what do permits
run, how long should we apply ahead of time.. etc.

Thanks a bunch.

Eric

Answer
Eric,

My answers depend heavily upon the type of content you are looking to produce.  I have commented on this site several times regarding the legality of filming adult content outside of California, so you may want to review those posts (or contact me through www.adultwebsitelawyer.com, and I can send you some info that way as well).

There are both permits applicable to all films, as well as ones unique to adult filming.  They are available from the the city in which you wish to film.
