Question
I am interested in creating a website which only posts pictures which have been purchased from other, more established firms. I am located in Maryland. Do I need to create an office in California? Also, is Canada porn friendly in terms of production, distribution and web hosting? Thank you for your time.

California's benefit derives from a California Supreme Court decision holding that the production of adult films do not constitute pandering or prostitution under that state's laws. A California office is effectively irrelevant merely for purposes of hosting a website containing pictures produced by others.
Canada does not have the equivalent of what's commonly known as the "2257 Regulations," however I am not a Canadian law expert, so cannot comment on how much easier it is to produce films there.
