I really have no familiarity with the porn industry in India; however, I do have a friend who is currently visiting India so maybe I can ask her when she returns. Until then, what exactly are your intentions in the porn industry? How long would you like your career to be? Do you want make enough money to transition into another career? These are important questions to ask in regards to where you live. Traveling to America may work well in your favor because it may reduce the chance of you being noticed in India. This is no guarantee; it's just a reduced rate of exposure.
The process of breaking into the industry may be similar to that of people in the States. I suggest you watch lots of porn and make a list of the ones you enjoy and can see yourself in. Write down the names of the production company and the actors (preferably popular ones) and contact these sources. They may give you a clearer picture of how to start working in the porn industry in India. You can also ask them if you could sit in on a shoot to gauge your comfort level.
