Your talent will definitely come in handy in the adult industry. However, every production company is different, and so you will need to remain open-minded and versatile.
Most cameramen in the industry are videographers, since use of storyboards and larger production crews are normally reserved for larger production companies, such as Vivid or Adam & Eve. Although you have creative experience, if you have yet to work in the industry then you may normally have to do camera work for smaller scale productions, which require very little prep. Some of these movies may be produced under a subdivision of the reputable companies i mentioned earlier, so the more your shoot, the likelier you are to work your way up the food chain and onto bigger projects

What I would suggest is to start building a website to promote your talents as an adult videographer. This would include a list of equipment you use, rates, contact information, and (if possible) a sample of your work. When I say sample, I mean erotic content.
