About christina Cicchelli
Expertise
if you are seeking information on how to break into the adult industry, how to use pornography to enhance your sex life, how to find pornography that turns you on, and also how to make a living as an adult performer - then I'm the lady to speak to! Getting into the adult industry can be easy, but to survive in the industry and find the best direction for yourself in this field is essential. As a former porn actress, I understand the pitfalls and successes that the porn industry has to offer. Pornography is a business, one that is patronized by a majority of us - whether it's by downloading a piece of an adult movie or buying a book by Jenna Jameson. You, too, can become a part of this industry. But, avoiding the mistakes and scams will make it easier for you. Also, knowing the pay rate and how to successfully chart your career will help you stay focused while having fun on set. For those not interested in getting into porn, you might want to consider how adult films can help your sex life. Maybe you're searching for the right type of smut to satisfy you and/or your lover for a night, or maybe you want to make a private movie of your own. Contact me for help and guidance. PLEASE DON'T ASK ME ABOUT LEGALITIES, LICENSES, PERMITS, OR ABOUT WHAT YOU LEGALLY NEED TO START YOUR OWN PORN BUSINESS -- i will prove unhelpful. Sorry.

Answer
Hey Priscilla,

Thanks for getting in touch. I would approach the adult industry in small steps. You're young and you're a mother so not only do you have to care about your well-being but the well-being of your child. So, make sure to be very discriminating about the type of work you're getting into. Also consider the type of exposure you're comfortable with and if you can explain to your child the type of work you do if (and/or when) s/he asks. If you can proudly substantiate your choices and speak openly about your past and if you feel confident about your decisions, then go for it. If not, then try getting a 9-5.

Outline a business plan. What is your goal? What are your short-term and long-term plans? Write out all of the details. Include your child in this plan - how are your goals going to support the two of you? This is very important because the industry isn't set up to provide long-term options for you. You need to empower yourself in terms of yours needs for you and your child.

Anywho, since you're low on funds to travel to LA, I would start out as an exotic entertainer or sensual massage work (You can freelance and advertise yourself or work for a parlor). These are low-exposure jobs that are close to home and are flexible enough for you and your lifestyle. From there, save up your resources (hence the business plan).

Your breasts is a low-priority. If you can't really afford enough money to travel to LA, then you might not have enough for an augmentation. If you still want to perform in porn, then save some money for a one week trip to the West. Don't go there with the objective to perform; go there specifically for research. Visit production companies, try and get yourself onto a couple of shoots just to watch the performances, and attend events. Speak candidly with other performers and determine if it's best for you. Otherwise, if you go and find yourself not enjoying the experience and unprepared for a backup plan, then you're stuck.

Hope this helps!
