Question
I did several adult films in 2006, and now my (ex) mother in law is filing for custody of my son (21 months of age).  He was concieved far after my departure from the adult film industry, and my former husband is in jail.  I have an extremely professional career, and have been working for my current boss (at two firms) since 2008.  Does she have any right to do this? What are her chances (GA) of winning custody of my little boy?

Unfortunately this is not an uncommon scenario.  I am not licensed in GA, nor am I a matrimonial law expert, however in most jurisdictions courts are VERY reluctant to take custody away from a child's natural parent unless there are CURRENT conditions that affect the safety and well-being of the child.  

I would strongly advise you consult an attorney licensed in GA who practices matrimonial law.
