So I read your answer about reputations of agents and I have a couple of follow up questions. How often should one expect contact from an agent who is working with them? from your answer It is reasonable to expect some amount of hand holding such as going with to first couple of shoots to help calm down.
How many shoots a month should a model expect for website content? I was guessing 2 a month . How close a relationship do agents and models usually develop? What is considered crossing a line?
I think I have found someone who states he can help me find work and set up a website and I guess basically act as an agent but since I ve never done this before I want to make sure I have the rules so to speak down.

You can expect an agent to follow up with you as much as you put into it. You need to make your agent feel as you really are looking for work and want to do it (there are a lot of “flakes” in the biz….one day she wants to work and the next….she doesn’t want to do it anymore). So as far as most agents are concerned they need to know that your alive and really do what to work...and since your probably not the only person that the agent is actively searching for work for you have to be determined to have them help you find work. Don’t hound them but be persistent. People that show that they really are interested in their own destiny instead of not really caring if they work will generally get more work. This can also show you personally if you’re overexposed or generally not needed in the “adult” business as well.

The how many shoots per month is often dictated again by the "models" drive...especially if the website in question is being stated on "spec"....meaning that you will not get paid until you get a significant amount of content out there....there job is to primarily get traffic and start general promotion of your new site and there are a lot of components that go into making a website. The truth is that there is no easy way or formula to make a successful website in general....now if there was don’t you think that everyone would have been using it so far?

Crossing the line is again too generally vague.....what is for one model maybe not even close for another....so this as a lot of other items are on both sides (agent/model) are handled more appropriately on a case by case basis.
