Adult Film/updated state porn filming laws

Question
Hi Jim,

I understand that the freeman case in California made it legal to shot porn in California. In new Hampshire, the New Hampshire v. Theriault (2008) case made its way to the New Hampshire supreme court and they, citing the Freeman case, upheld the distinction between pornography production and prostitution in that state. Am i safe to assume that it is now legal to shot porn in New Hampshire and do you know of any other states that may have recently changed there laws?

thanks,
Anthony

Answer
You can definitely assume that if you wish...but you would be quite foolish to do so.

The Freeman case in California was just the starting point...if took time and quite a bit of legislation to legalize such production in California. Betting on a single case to be the "magic cure" to this issue would be profoundly stupid.
