Adult Film/Escort Service

Question
First, thank you for taking the time to look over my question. I'm not sure if this is within your area of expertise, but I am very intersted in starting and running an upscale escort/stripper service. The business will operate in the Las Vegas area.

I would like to make it clear to both the customers and workers that sexual activities are not what is being paid for and that the company will not tolerate such things if brought to our attention. Legally speaking what would I have to do to protect myself and my company from potential legal problems that could result from a 'bad apple' or two.

I know these businesses exist, but are they really legal? Do the authorities often go after such companies? Given the adult nature of the business, what steps should be taken before starting?

Thanks once again for your time.

Answer
Kevin,

Thanks for your question.  Note that I cannot provide legal advice in this forum, but will tell you that you need to be very, very careful with this type of business.

Having their clear agreements in place with the strippers, and strict monitoring is vital.  Authorities WILL investigate these types of businesses, and sting operations are set up all the time.
