Question
I recently wrote a script for a adult film and was interested in getting it several companies.  Would you recommend getting a copy write on it prior to sending it, and how do I go about contacting them since I don't have any contacts in the business currently.

Mike,

You should always obtain a registered copyright on any written work prior to submitting it to anyone.  You can do that by visiting http://www.copyright.gov.

However most production companies don't accept unsolicited submissions, so your best bet is to use the power of networking to meet various producers to see if they would have any interest.  You should also become active on some of the various industry message boards found on sites like http://www.xbiz.com, http://www.ynot.com and others to generate interest in your script.
