Hi  We are a couple wanting to get into the adult industry ..We are in a financial state and we have got to make serious $. How do we start ? Who do we contact ? We are def seriou just dont know how to get it, can you help ? please

Thank you for your question. Please understand that my dogmatic approach should not be construed as rudeness. (If I was trying to be rude, as opposed to being helpful, I would simply have declined to answer your question at all.) :) As an expert in this industry, I'm often given the responsibility of correcting folks' misconceptions about it.

Unless you are a bisexual couple, and you're both females, your question is not realistic - especially since you are currently hurting for cash and looking to make a "quick buck".

The Company I work for, LicensedModels.com Model & Talent Mgmt. (http://www.LicensedModels.com), is the top talent management group in the industry for up-and-coming/aspiring FEMALE porn stars. We do not manage non-celebrity male talent or couples at this time.

Even with sexy & young female models, there are two general types of girls (18+) that we meet every single week: (A) those that are not hurting for cash... they have a decent job (like being a barista or something to that effect) and/or still live with their parents, and they're actually attempting to secure our help to pursue a longer-term CAREER, and then there are also (B) those that are looking to the porn industry as a "get-rich-quick" plan. The latter are often in a situation where they need money... and they need money NOW.

The reality of the entertainment industry is that it's not a "get rich quick" scheme. Big-name actors that you see on HBO & in the movie theater often attend over 300 auditions & casting calls before they ever get their first part... and their first part is often something very small. Just ask James Gandolfini from the Sopranos!

True... on the porn-side of the industry, it isn't quite THAT hard, as long as you're an 18+, sexy, young female who is willing to work with the male talent assigned to her... but success or fame doesn't happen overnight for anyone. (Well... almost anyone. Of course the Kardashians of the world are an obvious exception. But you don't want to rely on that happening to pay your rent next month; do you?)

Are there a couple producers out there that shoot couples...? Occasionally, but they are few and far between. If you, Jillian, are 18+, sexy, height/weight proportionate, able to get yourself to Los Angeles in the next 10 days, and excited about working with male talent that is assigned to you, then you (yourself, personally... not your husband or boyfriend) are welcome to apply on our site for an interview (for a modeling contract with our Company). If your husband comes with you, then we can possibly introduce you to the producers that shoot couples, but you must also be willing to work with male talent that is assigned to you for most of your shoots. And on most of those shoots, your husband/boyfriend will not be allowed on the set.

Otherwise, I am stuck with the responsibility of "busting you bubble", and letting you know that the legitimate porn industry is probably not going to be your answer for "[making] serious $" and rescuing you from your current "financial state".

Mike began his career in the entertainment industry as a talent rep for a large, well-respected talent management Company for S.A.G. actors and fashion models. The Company has been in business for nearly 20 yrs.
