I was wondering where would be the optimal place to advertise to find potential models for film work I am starting shooting.
Answer There are a variety of websites that you may use to help you in your search for models for your project. I would be wary of advertising on craigslist.com in the "adult gigs" section if you want to really be taken seriously. Most legit companies don’t use these FREE listing services to advertise an actual job. I would use-
The sites above are a little better respected as to finding talent or showcasing your company off to new models. Also you may want to use your company’s domain to actively search for models as this is not only more professional but it makes your ad more legitimate. Never use FREE email accounts (i.e., yahoo.com/gmail.com/hotmail.com) as most of the "shady" business people tend not to have an actual website to promote themselves or their services. Another thing you may want to do is to check with the talent managers themselves. This will save a lot of time and aggravation since you will be bypassing the "flake factor" and getting what you want from the get go.
