Question
What is acceptable agent/manager conduct, and what crosses the line?  Based on some on your previous answers it would seem an example would be an agent having sex with someone they represent, but is it always so?

I have heard that some in the industry put their models on the spot by telling them to have sex with them, and addressing any objection by pointing out that if they can not have a sex with a stranger in private, how can they have sex with a stranger on set, with other people around, in front of a camera and lights.

My thinking is that if a model is willing to pay for STD testing to work in porn, than that demonstrates some commitment to follow through on bookings.  So is an agent or manager having sex with a model unprofessional in all circumstances, or just in some?  Is there really any room for debate on this?  How would you say most talent agencies operate?  For every vague reference I've came upon on the subject, it seems to be a behavoir frowned upon, and thus something to avoid by both models, and agents wanting to maintain a good reputation.

The typical unacceptable behavior consists of an agent who only acts in the capacity of a agent and doesn’t do anything else....this really is a simple one to the degree of the fact that agents and managers do not get tested on a regular basis for STD's. now in my capacity of being an all in one....a basic one stop shop....as an agent, performer, driver...etc, etc.....there is no way for me to recluse myself for reasons of any type of conflict of interest....sometimes I too have been known to "test" the model. Being that the real amateur girls have NO clue what they are going in to or even doing for that matter. I have had to many time "give instructions" (OJT) on how to perform to the and in front of the camera....FUCKING in general is easy.....its VERY easy when its someone your comfortable with.....bf/gf/so....but when you have just met a complete stranger and he is going to stick his dick in your ass within the next 10 minutes...most girls unless they are high....always have trouble/problems....now as they progress.....believe you me...just like any job they will either learn to deal with it or they will quit.

In my rant above I basically point out the finer aspects of what you just said.....it’s true and I really actually do it.....but I really am a performer and my rate is between $250-$500 per boy/girl scene (outside of LA). Now you get an average guy off the street with no street cred (no adult credits) and ask for those rates.....they will laugh. So if you have a seasoned professional (is the person in question listed on www.iafd.com) who you can have test them out.....btw a test is not a full scene either so anything more then 10 to 20 minutes is not necessary. This too also applies not only to FEMALE talent....since they can actually act thru most of the scene......but more importantly for the MALE talent.....the most funny thing is when some so called stud approaches a well know mega hot porn starlet and asks her how she can help him get into the biz......standard reply is since all shows are held for the 18 and up crowd she will tell him to drop trow and work himself up to an erection and them cum on her tits.....
Naturally I have yet to hear of a successful tale come out from that one........so it’s not even a really sexual harassment issue since that is that nature of the beast.....SEX. Now everyone can do the basics…but this is unlike the basics…. you have to perform and actually convey to the audience that you really actually love your job…..


As far as the industry goes…I am a bit jaded so here it goes….This is a very dark and shady business....inhabited by flaky, drug dependant and people with issues that would make even Dr. Melfi think twice about her final career decision. The guys typically are the sort who couldn’t get laid in high school so they have taken out their frustrations not on the girl who wouldn’t go out with them then but that girl’s daughter. Most girls who are responsible enough can and will be able to get the industry standard STD/HIV testing done on their own but alas most girls aren’t equipped with such intelligence to do so….Most agents/managers are glorified pimps….and as such we have to coddle, baby-sit and hold their hand through the entire process and sometimes even be on set while they do their first scene so they don’t lose it and have a nervous breakdown. Always remember despite the sexy veneer the industry shows everyone on the outside it is really a large cesspool when you get into it.
