i was just curious, as i am an audio-engineering student, what positions
relationg to any aspect of audio, (production or post-pro) are typically on a
project, both large commercial production as well as independant production.
also, their typical or average starting wages.

as i am a student i'm broke and i'd like to put my engineering education to
work asap and start getting experience. i figure this would be a fun way to do
it. i'd prefer to work for an independent company...do you know of any
reputable ones in the toronto area?

Sound clarity and quality in Adult Films are just as important as they are in any other film. Adult films are not only visually stimulating but rely on the sound to generate the full desired effect. However, due to the limited budgets of independents, audio engineers are a luxury often only afforded to large commercial companies.

As for the starting wages, like most things, that is going to vary from company to company according to what region of the country they are in, and your experience level.

Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with any independent companies operation out of the Toronto area.
