Hi Charles,

Do film producers retouch or enhance their films to improve the appearances of the models?

I have noticed that sometimes the appearance of the same adult film star varies depending on who produced the film. Example, Jamie Huxley looks nicer (example, skin complexion) on films produced by Digital Sin compared to the films by Lethal Hardcore.

What you may be referring to is what everyone is in the process of now switching over to or HD, Digital and the like. I don’t know of any retouching of final end product like what Turner did to classic B&W films. For it would drive up production costs and for the most part any type of adult genre motion pictures aren’t designated that big or high budget, unless your talking about something from Wicked, Vivid, Digital Playground or Adam and Eve. Something upon the lines of Pirates perhaps? Remember the adult world doesn’t have Pixar or Lucas film ltd (i.e., IL&M). So I really don’t think your seeing too much in the post production area. But then again I maybe wrong. Most of the times I have seen pro adult models off camera that haven’t been all made up I myself don’t recognize them...outside if they are of the unusually busty nature types. They usually dress down and don’t have a TON of makeup on. So with still shots they can airbrush and Photoshop until the get the intended desired result. I have had a few nubies come in for interviews who had defiantly doctored their photos and I was like come on you knew I was going to see your flaws sooner or later.
