I am starting a new adult pay site and am looking for female talent for content.  Problem is I am in Massachusetts. Not a great place for local talent.  Most talent I have seen is in either Fl or CA. How can I find more local talent at a fair price for a newbie?  Seems most girls wont do anything for less than $1000. How does a new guy start off with these limitations? Any suggestions on sites to find fresh, less expensive talent?

First off, while are no legal issues with owning and operating an Adult Site from the State of  Massachusetts, you are going to run onto major legal issues with the creation of your content. Unfortunately, it is ILLEGAL to produce Adult Material EVERYWHERE in the United States except California. Attempting to produce Adult Material in Massachusetts may very well lead to charges related to prostitution and pandering (pimping)

Companies who produce Adult Material outside of California are doing so contrary to various state laws and are just simply hoping not to get caught. Yes, this INCLUDES Florida producers.

Adult film production is legal in California due to a president created by a 1988 decision of the California Supreme Court (California vs. Freeman). As a result of that decision, California became the FIRST AND ONLY state where a person can be legally hired to have sex for the purpose of making adult films. However; producers are still required to obtain permits before starting any such production. NO OTHER STATE HAS SUCH A PRECEDENT!

Now all that being said...

Q:   How can I find more local talent at a fair price for a newbie?

A:  Your best bet is to use a Talent agent. But keep in mind that “fair price” is a relative term and will depend on many variables. Girls with experience and who are popular are simply going to cost more money. The type of scene you are looking to film also effects the amount that you will pay.

A:  The Adult Industry is NOT a cheap business to get started in nor is it an “easy money business”. As with any business it takes money to get started. No matter if you use Investors or pay for it out of pocket it is going to be a costly venture. In all honesty, $1000 is a pretty far price for a simple Boy/girl or solo shoot.

Q:  Any suggestions on sites to find fresh, less expensive talent?

A:  None that I am willing to risk my reputation for by recommending. As with all things you get what you pay for. Quality talent is going top run you in the neighborhood of $1000 to as much as $5000 depending on what you are shooting and the experience of the performer. Girls who will work cheaper are simply not desirable to work with for various reason and will not draw the customer base you need.
