Question QUESTION: Hey Jim, I'm a beat curious on how porn script should look like. See, I want to write one, go to some production company and try to sell it, but I don't know the font professional porn writters use, or the size or anything... Should it look like a regular movie script?
I would like if have some of the porn sctipts that you could upoload somewhere so I could download it and learn how should I write it...
Thanks
Dawson Stevens
ANSWER: Hi Dawson,
Script? What the heck is a script?
I hate to tell you this but; you most likely won’t have any luck at all with your plan to sell a script to a production company. “Plots” in adult films died out a very long time ago. Most adult films made these days do not have anything that even remotely resembles a plot or dialog for that matter.
Adult films are about sex, not story lines. The closest thing you will see to a script on most film shoots is a few scribbled notes on a clipboard somewhere. Ever wonder why what little dialog you hear in an adult film always sounds so corny? Well, it’s because they literally make it up as they go along.
Sorry to disappoint you.
Jim

QUESTION: Hey Jim, thanks for answering.
Well I was always one of the guys who liked "talkie" movies. That's why I appreciate Wicked Production, they are the best! No. 1!
Thanks anyway :)
Answer Believe it or not Dawson, You and I think a lot alike. I too miss the days when even porn had some sort of reasonable story line.
The first film I ever saw was 10 ½ Weeks with Barbara Dare and Nikki Knight. It had a great comical story line and even with out the sex would have been a good movie. It is still one of my all time favorites.
Maybe the industry will return to that way of thinking one of these days, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
