I was wondering where its legal to shoot adult video in the USA.

It explains how that technically the only LEGAL area of the country (USA) to shoot commercial (i.e., when an actor will be paid for their performance) "ADULT" content motion pictures (i.e., video) is in California. Everywhere else is up to what law enforcement and the current administration feels like prosecuting at the time. So it’s more like if you know what the law you can’t claim that you didn’t know or understand it when and if they arrest you. It’s totally up to you….shoot in CA legally or take you’re chances with Murphy’s Law.
