I have heard different stories about shooting in Orlando, Tampa or Miami.....some tell me its legal to do so other say that Orlando is illegal to shoot adult content.
Can anyone tell me whats true and if there is a webiste I can see the laws pertaining to adult filming in Florida

I am not aware of any site stating legal advice of shooting adult content in the state of Florida. I am aware that there are producers in those areas that you have mentioned and some of the areas are VERY heavy in regular adult content shoots. BangBros is notorious for shooting their content in Miami/Dade County...such as their flagship site of "BangBus". The local journalists have had pieces on the legality of shooting on Florida’s highways and the alternative newspaper NewTimes has had several articles on the subject as well. But you also have to take in to consideration the current case involving Ray Guhn in Escambia County (Pensacola). Visit-

Its unclear if outside of that state with the proper permits (just as with legitimate mainstream movies they need a permit, porn sets need a "porn permit") that is technically legal to shoot commercial porn. So once again your best interest lies within the realm of a competent first amendment attorney (adult entertainment lawyer).
