QUESTION: Is it ok to offer a service to Video Tape Couples for their private collection. I would think if it was only for them it would be no different than shooting a birthday. Would I need a Waiver?

ANSWER: Sure it’s ok to do that type of thing. However, you would still be considered a “Primary Producer” under the law and would still be required to maintain the proper records as required by USC Title 18 Section 2257 and CFR Title 28 Part 75.
