Hi Jim,  Fabio here, I run <a href="http://www.fabiojobs.com>www.fabiojobs.com</a>, an adult jobs site.  I have read on some boards that adult movie companies find talents mostly through agencies rather than a jobs site like the one I run.  Would you say that is the case?  What would you say is the biggest problem in finding female models?  reliability?

Hi Jack,

Yes, most established producers tend to use Talent Agencies more than any other source to locate talent. Reasons for this vary among the different producers but at the top of nearly all of their list is reliability of the model/performers.

Agency girls are simply better prepared and have a much better understanding of what is expected of them as compared to girls who list on these sites. To be honest its just not worth spending hours on end reading profiles then playing “email tag” for a couple of days just to find a girl who may or may not live up to her resume, or will “flake” as soon as the cameras start to roll. It is much less complicated to simply pick up the phone, call an Agency, tell them what you need, and instantly have a selection of 4 or 5 performers too chose from.

That’s not to say that sights like your do not have their uses. I’m sure small production companies and armature photographers rely on them greatly to find talent that fits into their budgets.

As far as that goes, I will admit to browsing through a couple of them, including yours, from time to time because you never really know where you may meet your next real “Star”. Unfortunately, I haven not found her yet, but the search continues.
