I'm having problems finding a straight answer.  I'm considering filming a low budget porn movie.  I have the mail talent lined up.  For the female talent, I'm about to place adds and recruit... My questions are the following:
Are they allowed to perform sex acts for a screen test?  Is it allowed to be taped?  What is usually expected of female amateurs for a porn interview who not in a dbase? I want to be on the up-and--up but not have girls clam up when it comes to production time.  I'd rather have b/g scenes visa-vi screen tests before I sign-up talent but am concerned about going outside normal protocol.  Thanks! You can go thru agencies to find qualified talent or you can see what you can get from the adult casting websites. It’s a crap shoot if you go outside the agencies since they rep models who already know what there getting into. So the chances of you getting either a flake or a girl that cannot perform are greatly lowered by going that route.

I have found that some husbands or boyfriends that are trying to "pimp their girl out" go to the online casting sites and even some people make up bogus accounts for girls who do exist or for promoting their ex-girlfriend who really is not actually in the biz but just trying to a vindictive ex. So if you’re trying to go a low budget route it would be wise to go for the real agencies and wait till you have some product to show to new girls who aren’t in the agencies stable.

Naturally you will be paying more for talent and other costs in general such as “agency fees” but in the long run you will win since you will avoid all the pitfalls that are associated with “nubie” talent.
