Question QUESTION: I'm 19 and I've always had a deep-seeded desire to be a pornstar.
I love sex, I love being enthusiastic about sex, and there's almost nothing I won't do.
I have a few questions I am sincerely hoping to get answered about this industry I've yet to find.
I'd like to know exactly how likely it is for a female adult pornstar to contract any sort of STD ranging from HPV to HIV. Obviously this would be a huge concern of mine.
My second question is about the general performance. While I can be very enthusiastic and know how to please a man or a woman I don't know if I can immediately be free around a camera and 30+ people. I'm shy so it will take time to warm me up. Is there any chance anyone would have the tolerance for me? or perhaps you have some tips to help me get a little friendlier with the camera faster?
My final and MOST important question is regarding porn and relationships. I have been dating my boyfriend for a little over 2 years. While he'd support me to an extent I don't feel I have the full go ahead. I think he'd be better with it if I started with modeling or started off doing pictures, masturbation, or something along those lines. Any help getting this figured out? Asking me not to try to get into porn is like asking him (an avid masturbater) to not masturbate! He is quite possibly one of the best men alive and I'd never risk losing him.
oh crap, one last question. any idea how the female adult film stars are treated in everyday life? I want to be a vet, would this be a problem down the road? stalkers? haters? any issues they don't tell you about?
sorry for such a long question, but I simply cannot find the answers anywhere!
thank you so much for the help.
ANSWER: STD questions should be referred to-

That is the "industry standard" place for questions relating to STD's in the adult biz.
Performance issues that is a double ended sword. Only because people generally get into this line of work for money……the next is their enjoyment of the actual sex act….if you don’t really like sex you time in adult will be short lived. So it then once again boils down to the money aspect end of it. If you want to make good $$$ you have to do as much as you are most comfortable with doing. So as I tell most women if you don’t like dick don’t do dick period. But if you like money you will have to eventually do dick! So as for some girls I see entering the biz they are doing this as a part time gig….then that’s fine stay doing what your into….but if it’s a matter of your rent/mortgage or car note…..the absolutely you will have to endure things that you most likely will not enjoy…that includes once again….dick. Now in any mature adult relationship you will have to make some choices and in this business one of them will be having sexual relations with either another man or a woman….but it is just sex….and not love it is only a job. If a person cannot differentiate between the two it is either they cannot simply conceive of the general idea or there is an underlying moral issue. So I myself understand the difference between the two because it is just work and while we may hang out/party or see each other casually off set we are not engaging in any other relationship outside of that what is strictly a working relationship.
Haters and Stalkers…..yeah in a weird way….its what is called being part of being a celebrity to a degree. So it will be the price you pay for your 15 minutes of fame.

QUESTION: so if I were to work in the industry for a few years or whatever, get myself a certain degree of "fame", would I possibly be refused for jobs later in life?
I want to go to school to be a vet, and while I don't care if people call me names or pick on me, I DO care if I am refused a job because of my "earlier work".
is there a way I could strictly make porn with my boyfriend? I'm curious if that would be accepted at all.
ANSWER: this only depends on your level of fame......there are a few women in the adult biz and more entering each day....most don’t really leave a mark on the industry. Unless they are really unbelievably hot or really, really slutty....(ie, you know gangbangs, dp, tp and the like). So really it most likely will not reflect on your future endeavors. Even if you were to run for political office....most times if they run a background check...it only shows what you were convicted of......and not your employment history...once again unless you list it on your credit report....apply for a loan.....list that your working for vivid video as a performer then they may actually find out. The other end to that same question....if you kept that information hidden....no one will ever know unless your boss is a porn freak and has seen you on video.
working with your partner.....its always an option....but there are certain rules.....1) you have to be ultra I mean mega hot.....2) your bf must be able to perform sexually in from of strangers...it really is hard for some guys....since its not like real love making its being bossed around by a director yelling...harder...stop, different location......ok start......stop again now get a different angle etc, etc. Now finally it will most likely put a damper on your career in porn because most companies will want to see you with a 100 different guys....not just the same one over and over again.....and just like anything you will eventually run out of work.....like I said it is an viable option but not for everybody and definitely not a long term option that I would recommend.

QUESTION: first I'd like to say sorry about all these questions. lol
and thank you, your advice is definitely what I need to be told.
I don't know if I'd be considered mega-hot so I'm not sure about that. he could perform on camera and on demand but I figured they'd eventually want me with other men. which my boyfriend may eventually be comfortable with. if not I'll have to let go of him or my career as an adult film actress.
my next question is pertaining to the way the sex works in this. it's clearly not particularly intimate, but do some people find it harder to perform because the person is unattractive or because they have no feelings for that person? do they ever feel guilty or dirty for it? part of me feels I may feel that way but at the same time I doubt it. I'd like to know how it is typically.
Answer This is a brutally hard question to answer…but what the hell I will give it a shot…..
Now this is coming from me…a guy….but will I try to break it down to the basics. It is as I said before just a job….just like if you worked a fat food job as a cashier doesn’t mean that the manager won’t tell you to clean up the bathroom if it needs to be done….now you can say that was not part of your job description as being a cashier. But unfortunately it’s one of those things you will have to do now and then to keep the job…..and thus so is porn….. Everyone can believe that only the “pretty people” work in the biz…..once again that is not necessarily 100% true either. The hard reality is that as a job but unless you’re under contract you don’t have to do ever scene that you’re offered. So you will have to deal with some very strange and unusual people….going back to the pretty question…..there is a niche for EVERYTHING in porn….so here is a scenario…you get a call to do a shoot…but it’s a guy with a huge cock….pays this much…you say yes and go off to the set….well everything is fine until you meet the talent that your working with and he is extremely unattractive….well this guy has this enormous dick…and that’s why they hired him…..and not for anything else…..
So as I tell most new girls if your looking for the next love of your life on the set…..don’t just keep it professional…..its a job…..if you aren’t attracted to him…..that’s why they invented lube….lol
Anyway going back to the niche subject….there are fat websites….old men/younger woman….and exactly the opposite….and the list goes on and on……the only time you can cancel a shoot that your already there is if there is extreme issues on set…..what do I mean by that….
The guy/girl you’re working with has really bad bo……that’s a shoot killer…..there are others but the have to be actually plausible and not some half ass attempt at an excuse to stop a shoot.
As for feelings…I leave them off set when I am working as well……feeling dirty…..I have only felt that way when I have worked with a woman that has done more guys then I have done girls…but then again I remind myself that I am a paid performer….or male slut…then I lose any dirty feelings by that time.
So as I tell most women that I rep….the main component in being successful in this field is that you actually have to really like sex…..and not be just solely in it for the money…..since that what work is all about we don’t go to work for FREE…we go to make $$$....but the idea behind this profession is that you can actually have FUN and do something you actually like and get paid really well for it too. It pains me to see anyone in this biz that doesn’t want to be there…..sure my morals are truly fucked up….but my definition of what’s morally wrong is when a person comes in to this business and not is 100% behind their decision and doesn’t at least like sex.
