My question is, how does a person like myself break into the business of adult filming. I have always enjoyed the world of erotica. I know of one person who is also from long Island NY, he's known in the industry as Brian Humper. I would have to face it, I love the the naked body of a well put together freak! I'm always with my camera or cam corder, taking pictures of my wife when she get's home from work and gets out of her clothes. I even like to film us having sex just so I could Rewind the film and watch my wife and I going at it. She knows that I have this big idea of being in film industry behind the camera, because quite frankly, I think I have a flair for this kind of work. I know that LA is one of the places I guess one would go to if they wanted to make it in this business. I'm wondering what would be the best thing for me, a city boy from NY. Could you help me out in solving this matter. How do I become a self proclaimed adult filmer, How would I go about trying to get girls interested in the adult business.

All I can tell you is, start putting together a portfolio of your work, try and get some jobs in NYC (look in AVN and find companies in the NYC area), or move out to Los Angeles.

There's really not much more I can tell you, except that you sound cool, and if a future pornstar girl I know ever makes it, I'll arrange for you to direct her.

I really can't help you because I don't know much about the production side of things. If you get out to LA, I have contacts and names and agencies, but there should be plenty of work in NYC. Use the Adult Video News to look up some companies, like I said, and tell them what you do. They might want you to show scenes to them with the possibility of buying them, but more likely, if anything, would hire you to shoot for them.
