Hi Robert,

I am going to be shooting my first porn project very soon. I am actively shopping around for a camcorder. I am interested in producing a very high quality product (same quality as Digital playground, Red light District, Evil Angel etc.) so I could hopefully market it to top US distributors.

Could you maybe recommend what type of camcorder should I look into? Price range, brand, model etc.

Thank you very much for your question regarding the best/most suitable video camera technology/brand for you to be using for your upcoming adult film project.  Unfortunately, this is outside of my area of expertise, but I did want to respond to you personally with a couple of suggestions for possible sources of help:

1.  I am not immediately familiar with another suitable forum at AllExperts.com, but you might try posting in Gadgets/Cameras.

2.  You mentioned several production companies including Evil Angel - do not hesitate to contact these companies directly, and inquire about recommendations from their production and camera crew.  Some production companies are happy to respond to queries from others interested in getting into the business.

3.  You may find someone who can provide you with advice or direct you elsewhere by posting in the forums at http://www.XPEEPS.com
