Question I read that young couples should not do swinging because the emotions are too strong. That swinging should be for older couples only. is this true ?
Answer Hi Judy!
I would love to know your age!!
There is no "right or wrong" age to get into swinging. Yes, you are right, the emotions are very strong. I have seen 21 year olds that can handle those emotions, and I have seen 40 years old who could not.
It's not age that is a factor if you choose to get into the lifestyle. There are many other areas of your life you need to look deep into; your relationship with your significant other, your values, your sexual maturity level, your self-esteem, the list goes on and on.
Would I have started swinging when I was 21? NO. My partner and I had not totally explored each other yet. Neither us, or our relationship was mature enough to handle those emotions then. Had I not been part of a couple, and no what I no now, then yes definitely I would have been part of the lifestyle.
There is a few online groups for "younger swingers". I suggest if you fall into that category, you look there.
Good luck!
