My husband and I have been together for 13 years now and we have both wanted to experience the swinging lifestyle for sometime.  We know our ground rules but what is the best way to get started?  I was thinking a club, just for the environment and for us to enjoy each other first, but how does this work do we just show up? Are there rules? Also we are really interested in finding a couple that is our age 30-35 who are willing to be very discreet as we have small children and such, where do we find these types of people? Basically what is the best way to introduce myself and my husband to the swinging lifestyle and truly see what the environment is all about?

It sounds like you two have thought this through completely. If you know of a local swing club then I would suggest starting there. If you don't then I would recommend the internet as most swing clubs now use that as the way to get the word out. You will also be able to see who will be attending before you show up and be able to peruse their profile to see if there is a good fit (i.e. non-smoking/smoker, professional/blue collar, age range, h/w, etc.). There are an abundance of sites out there (adultfriendfinder, swappernet, clubswing, swinglifestyle, etc. just Google "online swinger sites" and you will get more results than you know what to do with).
