x + y + z = 24
8x + 7y + 5z = 160

8x + 7y + 5(-x - y + 24)
8x + 7y - 5x - 5y + 120 = 160
3x + 2y = 40
2y = -3x + 40
y = (-3/2)x + 20

z = -((-3/2)x + 20) - x + 24
z = (3/2)x - 20 - x + 24
z = (1/2)x + 4

x = x
y = (-3/2)x + 20
z = (1/2)x + 4
