Question
My blood test showed that my Vitamin B12 level is 348 picograms, but for certain reasons I need to know how many picomoles that is. Could you please convert 348 picograms into picomoles? Thank you very much. Al Brown

Answer
The molar mass of B-12 is 1355.37 g/mol

x mol = g/(g/mol)

348 pg = 3.48 * 10^2 * 10^-12 = 3.48 * 10^-10 grams

1355.37 = 1.35537 * 10^3 grams/mol

(3.48 * 10^-10g)/(1.35537 * 10^3 g/mol)

(3.48/1.35537) * 10^(-10 - 3) = 2.56756 * 10^-13

ANS : .256756 pmol
