Question
Hi
Can you help me with the "indefinite integration of the square root of cosine(x)"?
I have tried many techniques but unsuccessfully
I appreciate it..

Answer
Hi Soor~
What an interesting question, it has motivated me to find an answer to this myself. I do not have any method to find the indefinite integral of sqrt cos x but I have used Mathematica to get this answer: 2E(x/2|2) where this E represents the elliptic integral of the 2nd kind and you can find more information about elliptic integrals at http://functions.wolfram.com/EllipticIntegrals/EllipticE2/
