14- a hexagonal right prism has a volume of 500 cubic inches .If the base is a regular hexagon with a side 4 inches .What is the altitude of the prism
(A) 10.42 in (B) 12.03in (C) 85.52 in (D) 94.34 in

I answered B

Answer
V = Bh

B = 3a^2 * sqrt(3)/2

B = 3(4)^2 * sqrt(3)/2
B = 3(16) * sqrt(3)/2
B = 3(8)sqrt(3)
B = 24sqrt(3)

500 = 24sqrt(3) * h
h = 12.03in

AND : B.
