hi how do i work out the average % of this data:
1)85%, 22%, 22%, 29%
(does not equal to 100%)
do i just do the normal average wok out where i add them up and divide the numbers by how many values there are thanks?

    Percents in data do not have to add up to 100%. Suppose you have those values for tests grades, what would you do to find your test average? Exactly, add them up and divide by 4. So yes the answer is you would do exactly as you asked.
