Question
Hi Steve,
I am learning diff equations but these 'general' type of problems tend to stump me. to find the diff eqn whose general solution is y=Cx^2 + x do I just do dy/dx = 2Cx + 1
But that seems too simple .. is there a catch to this one
thanks!

Answer
Hi Vince,

I think you've got the right idea here.  I don't know if there are any other conditions on the equations--none were stated, but usually there are some initial conditions that come into play.

This one seems pretty straightforward..
