Question
If you are traveling ten km per second, how long will it take you to reach any of the nine planets.{if your starting at earth}

Answer
Hi Cierra,

Well, Venus, for example is 40,000,000 km from the earth.  So, if you travel 10 km / sec it would take you

              40,000,000 / 10 = 4,000,000 seconds to get there,

so, in days, that would be 4,000,000 / (86,400)= 46.3 days

(The 86,400 is from 60 sec/min * 60min/hr * 24 hr/day).

I hope this is what you wanted
Steve
