Question
Hi Steve,
What type of a series is this one? and it's sum
2+2^(1/2)+2^(1/3)+2^(1/4)+2^(1/5)+...
Would it be best to use th limit of the nth term test?
Thanks!

Answer
Hi Vince,

Well, on this one, I'm not going to be of much help.

My background in infinite series is not too extensive, so I looked up some convergence tests, and if we use the one you mention, we get that
lim , n--> inf,  (2^(1/n)) = 1, and the test is inconclusive.

I'm not really sure where to go with this one.   If you can get help from another expert, or figure out what's going on, let me know what the final result is.  I'm really sorry I can't help here.
