Question
write in the form (c*a^p)*b^q where c,p, and q are numbers: the swuare root of(9*a*b^3)

Answer
Hi again Kalie,

For this one, remember that square root means 1/2 power:

                   sqrt[9 * a * b^3] = [9 * a * b^3]^(1/2)

Now put the 1/2 power on each factor:

                   = 9^1/2 * a^1/2 * (b^3)^1/2

                   = sqrt(9) * a^1/2 * b^3/2

                   =    3 * a^1/2 * b^3/2

Hope this helps out
