Question
Hi,
I'm having trouble figuring these problems out, I'm getting confuse of what they're asking me.
"write the equation of the line you would draw for each inequality. Tell whether the graph of the equation is dotted or solid"
a couple of them are like: 4x-5y>3, 2x>3-2y, y<2/3x+2, y<-5
Thank You :)

Answer
whenever you have < or > the graph is dotted, if you have <= or >= the graph is solid.

as for your graph,

go to www.quickmath.com

click on Plot under Inequalities, then type in each of your problems and plot each one of them seperately.

you can either just copy and paste each one, or to make it easier to graph, i like putting them in y = form, the only problem is, a bunch of times i can't remember if you graph the top or bottom of the graph, so i just plug in some points and see which one makes the problem true.
