|x-2|/x-2=3


Answer
if you mean

|x - 2|/(x - 2) = 3 instead of (|x - 2|/x) - 2 = 3, then

|x - 2| = 3(x - 2)
|x - 2| = 3x - 6

this can be rewritten as

±(x - 2) = 3x - 6

x - 2 = 3x - 6 or x - 2 = -3x + 6

-2x = -4 or 4x = 8
x = 2 or x = 2

however if you plug that in, you will find that the left side and the right side aren't equal.

ANS : No Solution

you can go to www.quickmath.com and it will give you the same thing.
