Question
This is in regard to your reply at:

You describe how to find the coordinates of a point along a line by divding the line into the ratio m:n.  But what is n?  How did you come up with 110.39?

Thank you,
Paul

Answer
Hi Paul,
As you would have seen, the length of the line segment is 190.39 and not 255 like you stated.
Now, if we designate a point 80 unit from the suggested end, the length of the remaining segment is 190.39 - 80 = 110.39
That is how the ratio m:n becomes 80:110.39
