Question
Hi

Please can you have a look at this question.

Q: make J the subject of the formula,

((j/2+4a/3))/(L)

I hope I have inserted the formula correctly so you'll be able to understand it.

Simon.

Answer
if by this you mean

((j/2) + (4a/3))/L

you don't have an = sign in your formula, either way

multiply both sides by L, then you have

(j/2) + (4a/3)
becomes
(3j + 8a)/6

multiply both sides by 6, then subtract both sides by 8a, then divide both sides by 3

then you have

J =
