Hi Tim,
For ax² + bx + c = 0
x = [-b ± √(b² - 4ac)] / 2a
So 18x² - 39x + 19 = 0
x = [39 ± √((-39)² - 4.18.19)] / 2(18)
 = [39 ± √(1521 - 1368)] / 36
 = [39 ± √(153)] / 36
 = [39 ± 12.37] / 36
 = 1.4269 or 0.7397
