Question
Hi, can you, please, help me with this homework problem?

Find the sum of u + v. Give the magnitude to the nearest tenth and give the direction by specifying to the nearest degree the angle that the resultant makes with u.
u = 54, v = 43, Theta = 150 degrees.  There are vertical lines enclosing the u and the v.  Thank you!  Cindy

Answer
Ok I think it is clear that you are to find the magnitude of the sum of u + v given the magnitude of u and the magnitude of v. It is not clear what angle theta is, so do you know? Was there more information given? If you can give me that, I can help you.
